In its decision on July 10, 2024, the Financial Supervisory Authority granted a permit for the transfer of the management of the mutual fund AJ Evli Value Hedge from Evli Fund Management Company Ltd to GRIT Fund Management Company Ltd. At the same time, the Financial Supervisory Authority confirmed certain amendments of the fund rules, which are mainly required due to the transfer.
The planned implementation date for the transfer of management is October 1, 2024. As of this date, GRIT Fund Management Company Ltd will be responsible for the management of the fund and for its portfolio management. Juha Rajakenttä will continue as the fund’s named portfolio manager.
The transfer of management and amendments to the rules do not require any action by the fund’s unit holders. Unit holders have the right to redeem their units in accordance with the valid rules.
The amendments to the rules will enter into force on the same day that management is transferred. After the transfer, the name of the fund will be AJ Value Hedge GRIT UCITS and the management company will be GRIT Fund Management Company Ltd. The other rule amendments are of a technical nature or specifications related to:
- taking out a loan,
- publishing the value of a fund unit,
- the exchange rates used to value the fund’s assets,
- the delivery, confirmation and execution of an order,
- compensation paid from the fund’s assets, and
- remuneration.
The new rules are available in Finnish free of charge from GRIT Fund Management Company Ltd and Evli Fund Management Company Ltd. The rules are also available on Evli’s website (FI).
Subscriptions, redemptions and reporting after the transfer of the fund
After the transfer of the management of the fund, it will only be possible to make subscriptions and redemptions by submitting orders to GRIT Fund Management Company Ltd using the order form. The forms are available by email from the address fundadmin@gritfundservices.fi. From now on portfolio reports and subscription and redemption confirmations will be sent to the email address provided by the client from the address reports@gritfundservices.fi.
