The collaboration between Evli and HJK to support young people in football will continue in 2023, with the aim of providing all children and youth the opportunity to play football, regardless of family background, financial situation, physical disability or other factors.

Evli will donate 100 euros for every goal scored in HJK's Veikkausliiga home games to the Aulis Rytkönen Fund. Each year, the fund provides scholarships to HJK's junior players, thus giving the opportunity to play football to a larger group of youngsters.

"Evli’s core values include learning and continuous development. By working together with HJK, we are able to provide children and young people with equal opportunities to engage in sports, while creating a safe environment for them to grow and develop. It is also important for Evli to support the society in working to prevent children and young people from being socially excluded. Hobbies have been proven to be one of the best ways to prevent exclusion and increase a sense of community and belonging", says Kim Pessala, Evli's Head of Institutional Clients, about the collaboration.

Last season, HJK scored a total of 24 goals in Veikkausliiga home games. Evli donated 100 euros for each of those goals to the Aulis Rytkönen Fund, taking last season’s pot up to 2,400 euros. This season, HJK has already scored 13 goals in five home matches. That makes Evli’s support of football for children and young for this season so far already up to 1,300 euros.

"Responsibility means taking action. Our hope is to see lots of goals and good deeds on and off the pitch, which will bring joy to the spectators and to the children and young people supported by the Aulis Rytkönen Fund. It is fantastic that our long-term cooperation will continue", says Esko Villman, Sales Director of HJK.

HJK recently announced that for this season, the Aulis Rytkönen Fund has granted personal scholarships to nearly 100 HJK junior players to continue their passion for football.
