Evli has once again received excellent results in the PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment) assessment. In the 2024 reporting, Evli received the highest rating of five stars for its corporate bond funds, quantitative equity investments and in alternative investments for its fund-of-funds and private equity investments, significantly exceeding the median in all categories. For its responsible investment practices (Policy Governance and Strategy) and active equity and real estate funds, Evli received four stars.
PRI is an independent and well-known UN-affiliated organization focused on the development of responsible investing. Evli signed the PRI's Principles for Responsible Investment in 2010. PRI signatories report extensively and comprehensively on their responsible investment practices, based on which PRI evaluates each asset manager's or investor's progress in responsible investing and the development needs of various areas of investment activity.
"Responsibility has long been integrated into our entire investment operation, and we are very pleased to see that the results of our systematic work are also reflected in the 2024 PRI assessment. We will thoroughly and comprehensively review the results to be able to continue developing our practices across different asset classes," commented Elina Niiranen, Senior Analyst for Responsible Investing at Evli.
At Evli, the PRI reporting included a wide range of funds and investment products across different asset classes. In PRI reporting, signatories are required to report on asset classes that constitute over 10% of the assets managed by the asset manager or are valued at over USD 10 billion. Reporting on other investments is voluntary. For several years, Evli has voluntarily chosen to report as comprehensively as possible on its investments in order to simultaneously develop its responsible investment practices.
